Jane Boyer's Info

Please direct Questions to jboyer@greenapple.com

I have really no idea where they came from but they settled in Ohio around the Troy, St. Marys area.
They had one son that I know of-Winfield Scott Boyer b7-4-1852 in Troy, Ohio.
He died 10-16-1936 in St. Marys, Ohio.
Winfield was married to Clementine Long b10-6-1853 d1-11-1935 also in St. Marys, Ohio.
In the 1880 St. Marys, Ohio census, Elizabeth is listed as 62 yrs old and living with Winfield and Clementine.
The Boyer family is on my husbands side of our family and most of the older Boyers are already gone.

They are somehow related to a Lewis Boyer aka Ludwig Bower that was an aid to George Washington.
He enlisted in the army from Rockingham County, Virginia.
The local DAR have kept up his burial site and have a very nice small monument for him.
Lewis was born near Hagerstown, Maryland in 1755.
As best as I can tell, he came to Ohio before 1805.
Since I'm not sure how they are related, I don't know if this is of any help or not.

Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated. Top of page
