This web site is the next step in a project I started in late 94. I found several Blevins Researchers on AOL and started a list to help researchers find and share information. I am hoping to start more lists of people looking for other Surnames in my database.

I work for an engineering company in northern california managing and maintaining thier computer systems. I have a knack for computers and how they work.

This Site

I have gotten many messages about how wonderful the site is and am glad its useful. I must profess I'm more of a computer nut than a dedicated researcher. I hope to have a searchable index soon or a system to process requests for information. The site has more information than I can store in my meger brain and I try to include all the information people send me as soon as possible.
As always send GEDCOMS, INFO, and Sugestions to improve the site, or money to help run it ( it costs $35/mo for the sevices )

Data on this site

I try to include anything I get on this site. Please keep in mind that I'm trying to gather and display information and do not have knowledge about other peoples data (please contact them for more information). I have plenty of space (20Meg) and hope to fill it some day.

Please don't ask if I can check for information in my files (these are my files). This might seem harsh but I don't answer such requests and instead concentrate on other questions.

It took me hundreds of hours to get these pages together and many more hours to keep them updated and current.

You'll need to spend more than a few minutes looking through the information. Several visits might be in order to gather information. I use netscape but all of the browsers seem to have the same tools. The cache holds a copy of the pages you could read while off line or you can SAVE a copy on your hard drive and read it later
