ggrandparents Elisha Bell and Matti Blevins. Don't know much about them
because I haven't been working this line. Just thought I would let you
know I was here.
6/15/93 Jack Allen JPCC86A (note to me) For what its
worth, Bob Blevins, a druggist in Joplin, MO was born and raised in Van
Buren, Crawford Co, AR. I understand he was orphaned and grew up in the
home of a Van Buren druggist, Wilson Reynolds. Bob owned a store in
Joplin in late years, but I understand he passed away a few years back.

near Pauls Valley. His grandmother was Cherokee Indian. I believe her
name to be Flora Bird. Grandfathers name was George Washington Blevins.
They had 6 or 8 children. One of which was my husband's father, Lonnie
Glenn Blevins b. 8-10-1916 OK. Flora Bird remarried after her husbands

Bath Co, KY) d. 2-12-1912 Fayette Co, IN. I think his wife was Mary
Kinney. They had Alice Jane, John Thomas, Charlie, and another daughter.

your Henderson or James be a s/o James & Elizabeth Blevens? They lived
in Lawrence Co, KY 1822-1829. Ended up in Bath Co, KY. Died in 1870 &
was listed in Census Mort's. He was said to be s/o James and Hannah O
Blevins. He was Rev War Soldier (5221). She lived to over 100 years old,
and d. Law. Co, KY Roger in OH
5/16/93 Roger Kennedy MDWP04A (note to Robert Blevins) Bob, I
also have double Blevins in my lines from Carter Co, KY. My ggg
grandfather m. Mary Blevins who was b. ca 1795 VA or TN d.1860 in CC.
She and her husband George McDavid lived in Scott Co, VA before coming
to Lawrence & Carter Co, KY. My other ggg grandmother Francis Blevins b.
ca 1793 VA d. in the 1850's in CC m. James Boggs. Her father was James
and Hannah Blevins. He was Rev War Soldier who died in Law Co, KY. A
James Blevins is believed to be his son moved from Law. Co, KY about
1829 and ended up in Bath Co, KY where he died in 1860, this family was
from VA. There were some other Blevins in Carter Co that I have been

9/8/93 Ralph Blevins VGPK69A (note to Owen
Blevins) James and Lydia Sizemore go a ways back and stay on the
Blevins side of my family some follow:
I was informed by a study that these are descendants from seven Blevins brothers who
migrated to this country from Wales in the early 1700's and settled
along the Applicatian Trail with Daniel Boone.
Here's another Blevins researcher, actually she's my sister, but
this Blevins line is on her hubby's side of the family. (Lisa)
