I've often wondered where some of these towns that I find in
my research are, now I can find out.
Here are some examples of usage for the Direct Map Request feature:
The Mall in Washington, D.C., with markers on the White House and Capitol:
The 48 contiguous United States:
The Northeastern United States:

A region with several cities marked:

After the image loads there is a place to enter an new location, try one ot the
small towns from your research.
The maps are quite detailed as you zoom in. I have found my street, and several
other interesting places.
