Check these out

I've often wondered where some of these towns that I find in my research are, now I can find out.
Here are some examples of usage for the Direct Map Request feature:

The Mall in Washington, D.C., with markers on the White House and Capitol:

The 48 contiguous United States:

The Northeastern United States:

Manhattan, New York City

Legend for above Manhattan map:

A region with several cities marked:

Somerset, PA ( Not AOL)

For those with a browser that supports FORMS and TABLES (not AOL) http://tiger.census.gov/cgi-bin/mapbrowse-tbl
After the image loads there is a place to enter an new location, try one ot the small towns from your research.
The maps are quite detailed as you zoom in. I have found my street, and several other interesting places.

I am going to add images of towns mentioned in my research and the info provided in the research lists. I will change the Images once and a while. let me know if you want a specific location represented Rkinnie@aol.com

Others use http://tiger.census.gov/cgi-bin/mapbrowse (AOL)
